This pair of extended "outrigger" feet for AxiDraw V3, AxiDraw V3/B6, and AxiDraw V3 XLX consists of a pair of machined aluminum struts with large 1/2" diameter (12 mm) rubber foot pads set securely in recesses. It greatly increases the effective base area of the AxiDraw, making it much more stable when plotting, and capable of carrying heavier tools without worry of tipping over.
In addition to providing a larger footprint, the outrigger feet also provide four mounting holes that make it easier to secure your AxiDraw to a surface, should you choose to do so. Each foot strut has two top-side accessible #8/M4 clearance holes.
Installation is straightforward: Remove the two screws that hold the standard foot plates to the bottom of the AxiDraw, and attach these struts in their place with the included screws.
Compatible with AxiDraw V3, AxiDraw V3/B6 and AxiDraw V3 XLX. (The outrigger feet also are mechanically compatible with the AxiDraw SE/A4, however they are not a good color match for it -- if you would like us to substitute black-colored outrigger feet into your order, please contact us.)
These outrigger feet can also serve as spare or replacement parts for the feet on models that initially came with extended feet, including AxiDraw V3/A3, SE/A3, SE/A2 and SE/A1.
